Join us as we welcome Scott Cohen in a comparison of “Burgundies” from France and Oregon.

Scott’s family started Grapevine Distributors in 1991 and quickly became the leading distributor of Oregon wines in the Carolinas in addition to representing family wineries from around the world. This gives us the unique chance to taste through Oregon wines from Domine Drouhin (Dundee Hills) and Rose Rock Drouhin (Eola-Amity Hills) and Maison Joseph Drouhin from Burgundy, France.

While obviously there is only one Burgundy, the Drouhin wineries in Oregon are operated with the vision of “French soul, Oregon soil”. Also, the winemaker for all these vineyards is the world famous, Veronique Drouhin. So additionally, Scott will help people further understand the influence of terroir on the wines, since all were made by the same person.
