Bill Nesto (Master of Wine)*** and Fran Di Savino on Sicilian Wines

In what can only be described as a “perfect pairing” for a wine dinner, we combine the experiences of Bill Nesto, Master of Wine, and Frances Di Savino, authors of the book, The World of Sicilian Wine, with the talents of Chef Linda Lockman who studied at the Famed Anna Tasca Lanza cooking school, which is situated on one of the largest estates in Sicily along with the family’s Tasca d’ Almerita winery. Seats for this dinner, which will be an experience you will tell your friends about for years, and are very limited due to the intimate location which is famous for its fabulous sunsets over the inter coastal waterways. 

After the reception, you will be treated to four courses, and each course is paired with two wines. This will allow everyone to create a better understanding of the wonderful wine and food pairings that have made the Sicilian island so mesmerizing for food and wine aficionados.

During each course, Bill and Fran will also share not only information about these wines, but also stories on how they found them, the wineries and families that are behind them.

Also included, each couple will receive one copy of the book The World of Sicilian Wine to be signed by the authors at dinner. If you would like additional copies, please let us know before the dinner and we will have them for you to get them signed as they make a wonderful gift for the wine lovers in your life ($25 each).

***Currently there are only 41 people in the United States who have achieved the Master of Wine designation. So, this really is a unique learning opportunity.
